Hi - I found a great new book The Sword Of Ages by Kay Gossage. I was looking on lulu.com and found it. It is on the website lulu.com and the author's storefront page there as well. It is great! I have not found it other places yet. Take a look all of you fantasy lovers out there

This post I suppose goes hand in hand with the post entitled writer needs some help. I have written and published a fantasy novel. I have even gotten it into Bakka Science Fiction Bookstore in Toronto. However, I am having difficulty promoting it. I am starting to questioning if it's any good. I could really use some feedback. I am wondering if there is a market for the novel. An excerpt can be found here-

Guess what. They're making a movie of Jumper. It's even going to be a trilogy. It looks like Samuel L. Jackson will be starring in it as the NSA agent. Sounds like it's going to be interesting even though they're changing the story to add another person who can jump.

Reading 2006

Just finished reading The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Robert A. Heinlein. This book was good and I think the ideas in it are very intersting and could start some nice discussion around a glass of wine or beer. it is a story about a penal colony (Moon colony called Luna) that fight for his freedom.

Heinlein has some neat (and some strange) ideas...

Calculating God by Robert Sawyer SPOILERS

I finished reading Calculating God last week and it was an interesting story. Very thought provoking. I also wasn't expecting that new species at the end. Do you guys think that baby will be the new God for the next universe or just that she will be the progenitor of the next God? For some reason, I just can't believe the universe would end in her lifetime, if she lives a regular lifetime of around 100 years and without any relativity affects.

Also, what do you guys think...
