			<description><![CDATA[ PBee, I would have to say <em>A Year of Wonders</em> is my favorite of G Brooks novels, also. When I first read it I, too, thought the ending was unbelievable
but I&#39;ve since read other things that make me see that it&#39;s actually quite plausible. Of course, the entire book was something of a fairy tale in a
way. But I thoroughly enjoyed it anyway.

I would rank <em>People of the Book</em> second of her novels but my favorite of her books is still the non-fiction <em>Nine Parts... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Olle, An Echo in the Bone was worth it if you have read all the others, but it did take me awhile. I am not sure I liked it as much but I don&#39;t know if it
is the plot, the writing or just my stage of life. Still, her plot, style and characters remain consistent and there is some comfort, and tedium, in that. My
one gripe is that the ending leaves a lot of loose ends, in preparation for the next one.
