I am HUGE xstitch geek)
I have a MLIS (Masters of Library and Information Studies), 3 cats (Hannah, Chloe, and Bubba - guess which one Dad named? )
I am 4'8", round, very much a homebody who occasionally gets dragged out for an adventure; no one can tell me somewhere along the line one of my ancestresses wasn't a hobbit I read everything from St Thomas Aquinas to Walter Mosley (Blonde Faith blew my MIND!) and just about everything in between. I am always ready to enable and be enabled when it comes to my Book Addiction - I have been told that my epitaph should be that quote from the Dutch philosopher Erasmus; "When I get money, I buy books; if there's anything left over I buy food and clothes"

Welcome, Cierdwyn. Do you mind if I just call you Jennifer; it flows from my fingers more easily!
That quote used to appear on bookmarks from my favorite book store, The Tattered Cover. I like it, too.

Welcome Jennifer!
I used to have a button that said "Will Power" with a picture of the Bard on it. However, when it comes to reading more books, I have no willpower at all!

Sorry I haven't had a chance to say this yet but I have been gone all week down to central IL. I wanted to welcome you Jennifer to the group. I also
happened to note you said you had your MLS. I have mine also from the University of IL at Urbana Champaign. Where did you get yours from?

Hi. I'm new. My name is Mia. I read a lot. All sorts of books. Many genres. But of late, I haven't been reading as much as I'd like to so I thought
that by joining a book club here I could expand my horizons. I just wanted to double check to make sure that the book everyone will be working on is: Brief
Hisory of the Dead by Brockmeier. And then... do you go on line and do a book club review thing? What can I expect? Thanks in advance.
