A 2+ from me - I'm glad I read this book and have recommended it to others who I know enjoy this sort of history/story. The small 8 pt font made it
difficult to read for long periods and there was alot to absorb - the chat was good though.

I'll give it a 1. Even though I didn't really finish, I came awfully close!

I'm going with a 1.75. It took me forever to read but I did learn some things and some parts were quite interesting.

I hate to ruin the curve, but to be honest, I guess I'd have to give it a 0.5
Too flat, too detailed, just not my kind of book, though I do recommend Hansen's Atticus and Mariette in Ecstasy. I guess I'm a little slow off the mark on this, but I didn't realize he's considered a "Catholic writer" did any one else?

2.5for me. I'd give it a 3 except for the "recommendations" part of the chart. I liked it but realize that I'm not in the majority here. Far
from it. Oh well.

It gets a 1 from me. I only finished because it was a group read, otherwise I would have been outta there after about 100 pages.

1.5 Not a novel in the typical sense, didn't really care about any of the characters.

0 from me. Couldn't finish it. Jesse and co. seemed as lifeless on the page as he was after Ford shot him. good chat though.
