Greetings fellow readers, We have a room in the basement of our local library we can use for meetings and I am looking for ideas to help stimulate interest in
the club. What would YOU like to see if YOU had a place like this to "hang out"?? Chess?, Backgammon?, Clue?, Scrabble?, Wednesday Night Old Books
and Coffee? (books you might have missed), Monday Afternoon Mystery Club? I'm appealing to all book lovers for their ideas and comments and thank you for
your help with this project!

There's a similar club at one of the local library branches. I know they have book selections picked for several months in advance and the list of books
and meeting times is generally posted on the door to the library. I doubt they have permanent use of the space though... I think they meet on Thursday
evenings.
They pick good books, too, unfortunately the last time I looked I had already read all of the selections for the coming months! |
