Anyone else laugh at the statement about the village Adrian writes about being down to a population of one because they're all killed off in his books?
Made me think of some convo we had about Miss Marple, Hamish MacBeth and all those other cozy stories. Small towns with a lot of crime. :)

Yup I noticed that too and immediately thought about the conversation we had re Louise Penny and how Three Pines would support many more murders. There were
several other pungent comments, but I didn't have a pencil handy and just kept on reading darn it.

I loved the paragraph describing how Jeffrey puts on a pseudo upperclass British accent, then Sir Adrian responds with an even more ridiculous pseudo American
accent:
"Reckon I'll hang on to these here pages a mite longer, pardner.............." Very funny.
