They said it was the first favorite to win since Life of Pi, which bodes well. I bought it, so I'll be reading it when it comes out.

Glad i reserved it when i first heard of it - a win like this always makes a book instantly popular. Looking forward to reading it.

Chris:
Thanks for the heads up--I can be on top of the curve this way since my uncle would be looking for intelligence on this! |

Already have it on reserve (good thing, cause the list is likely to get a lot longer now).

I'm on it too, Jodi, 9 out of 69. I was thinking of getting it on my Kindle but am not sure it will be available. Betsy, do you know how that works? Do
they not show the Kindle version as available until the book is actually released?

Thanks Chris! I'm in the 40s, like Jodi said I'm sure the # has gone way up by now.

I assume with reserve queues that long in your libraries (I'm 5 of 243), that they have multiple loan copies in stock...sheesh, be waiting months
otherwise!

I just looked.. ONE copy!!! Hope they order more!
They've got 68 copies of the new Connelly book though.

Jodi, our library system always says ONE copy until the copies actually show up and are put in the system. Then it will suddenly say 83 copies or something.
Since this one isn't due until next week, do you think that might be the case?
I've had Wolf Hall in the 'saved for later' part of my Amazon cart since July 30 -- gues it's time to move it up. Now, since everyone is apparently going to be reading it, why didn't we select it?

I'm #43, book is still being processed and for some reason the publishing date is 210. It wasn't me who mentioned it,

At least 16 copies in our library and they're all out - I'm 16th in line so it might not be too long before I get this one.

For Wolf Hall our library system says 7 copies, each is ON ORDER and now it has almost 80 holds. :)
Rema, the pub date on this system says 2010 as well. Guess it came out a bit earlier than they thought? |

Looks like we'll have another one to at least add a thread discussion for. YAY I love spontaneous group reads so much, especially if the book is good LOL.
I've ordered the Mantel, so I'll be a shoo in.
