Jan 4 12 5:29 PM	I grew confused during the ending, and since I was listening to it I didn't try to go back and find the bits that I didn't quite get. So I'll ask, didn't Simone take off her pants? if so then she must have removed her shoes. If that's all true, then how the heck did she manage to run to the lake, and do all she did while half-naked in debilitating cold? if not then did the book detail how she redressed before she began to fight and/or run? This book was creepy enough that it's staying with me but it seemed there was a bunch of stuff thrown in... the bus scene at the end, the sex, never understood Simone's dad doing all that running around but never calling in any other cops (he actually was putting his beloved daughter in danger and I just didn't get it)... I'm not sure I'd read another by this author. what about the rest of you?

Jan 5 12 4:31 PM	another hold on a minute...when the sister (can't remember her name) was found at the cottage and was being comforted by the female cop...didn't that cop get bitten on the neck by the sister? what the hell was that all about? a red herring to make us think she might be in on all that happened? Well, was she?

And yes, she did her own share of biting and who knows if she was involved -- we never find out! Highly annoying if you ask me. BTW, I've agreed with all your quibbles, Olle, particularly those you listed about part 3. And, no, I don't think I'd read this author again. Too many other books out there. Karen ~~~~~
