I got to see David Weber, David Drake, and got to see Toni Weiskopf of Baen at DragonCon over Labor Day weekend and I was lucky enough to get a free book as
well.
I didn't get to see John Ringo though but I had fun til I got sick again. that is why you haven't seen me here hardly at all. Sick My med problems really kicking up. Hello and welcome all the new folks. Chuck

Let's say I have been through some surgery and my health has been generally terrible of late but hope i am about to hit a good stretch. Reading when I can.
started Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's books. Like them so far. I hope I can be more active again. When you get as sick as i am you tend to have to tune
the world out and retreat. Greetings to all and how is everyone?

Hi I am Walt13 from Idaho. I found this site by Googling sites for book clubs and other reading groups. I was looking for a forum where I could talk about and
find other potential fantasy fiction novels. I have read many Fantasy novels and enjoy doing so. I consider it brain candy and it has become quite a guilty
pleasure of mine. I also wanted to see what good fantasy novels where out there. When I go to the book store I am overwhelmed by the selection that is there
and it is very difficult in such a short period of time to find a good book. I am always asking people I know if they have read any good fantasy fiction. I was
hoping this would help me find and discuss more of my favorite type of brain candy. I am currently reading George R.R. Martins "A Feast For Crows" I
have read his previous 3 books in this series and was impressed. However I am finding this book to not be as intensely grabbing as the other 3. Part of it
might be that so much time has elapsed from when I read the other 3 and when this one actually came out (in paperback) that I have lost the numerous story
lines that are involved in this series. I want to get back into it but I am struggling to do so. What is the group currently reading? Thanks Walt

want to repeat this post over there in either the Newbie thread or in What I'm Reading Now. You might get more suggestions than you can use LOL. Welcome to
